Combating Cartels on Social Media Act of 2025

This bill requires three government departments — Homeland Security, Justice, and State — to work together to fight back against international criminal organizations that use social media to recruit people in the United States for illegal activities. The departments must create and carry out a plan to address how these criminal groups use social media platforms and messaging apps to get people to take part in or support illegal activities in the United States, Mexico, or near U.S. borders.
