Fairness for Victims of SNAP Skimming Act of 2025

This bill changes the rules for replacing SNAP benefits (food assistance) that are stolen from people through fraud like card skimming or cloning. Right now, the government will only replace stolen benefits that were taken during a specific time period (October 2022 to December 2024), and the replacement amount is capped at no more than two months' worth of benefits. This bill would make the replacement program permanent and require that people get back the full amount that was stolen from them, with no cap on the replacement amount.
