CRAWDAD Act

This bill changes two government programs that help farmers during disasters. It expands an emergency assistance program so that crawfish farmers can get payments when bad weather or drought causes them to lose their crawfish harvest. The bill also requires the Farm Service Agency to set up rules for how crawfish farmers document their losses. Additionally, it changes a livestock disaster program so that both weaned and unweaned livestock qualify for help, since currently only weaned livestock are covered.
