BIG OIL from the Cabinet Act

This bill would stop people from being appointed to certain top government jobs if they worked as a high-level officer at a fossil fuel company, as a fossil fuel lobbyist, or as a top officer of a fossil fuel trade group within the last 10 years. The government positions covered by this rule include the President's Chief of Staff, the heads of the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Energy, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of State, as well as other political appointments in certain agencies.
