STOP CSAM Act of 2025

This bill updates the rules for protecting children from sexual exploitation online. It gives more privacy protections in court to child victims and witnesses of kidnapping and to victims who were under 18 when the crime happened, even if they are now adults. It also requires internet and technology companies to report child sexual exploitation to a national tip line within 60 days, and it creates penalties for companies that don't follow the rules or that store or knowingly help spread child sexual abuse material. The bill also sets up a process for courts to assign someone to manage payments owed to victims, such as minors, and allows victims to sue companies in civil court.
