Protecting Military Installations and Ranges Act of 2025

This bill limits people or companies connected to Russia, China, Iran, or North Korea from buying or leasing land near U.S. military bases and training areas. A government group called the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States would be required to review these land deals if the property is within 100 miles of a military base or within 50 miles of military training routes and certain other military zones. The bill also says that the Department of Defense and the Department of Transportation cannot give final approval to certain projects, like energy projects, if they involve a deal that is still being reviewed by this committee.
