SWAG Act

This bill would stop federal agencies from spending government money on free promotional items like branded giveaways, known as "swag," and from creating or using mascots to promote their programs. There are a few exceptions: agencies can still do these things if a specific law allows it, if it's related to military recruitment, or if it involves mascots for military academy sports teams.
