Securing Our Propane Supply Act

This bill requires the Department of Energy to study ways to deal with shortages of propane, which many people use to heat their homes. Specifically, it looks into whether it would be a good idea to create a national stockpile of propane, separate from the existing stockpile of oil known as the Strategic Petroleum Reserve. If the study says a propane reserve should be created, the Department of Energy would then have to come up with a plan for how to set it up.
