Legislative Branch Appropriations Act, 2026

This bill provides funding for the year 2026 for the legislative branch of the government, which includes the Senate and various offices and agencies that support Congress. Some of the offices and agencies covered include the Capitol Police, the Congressional Budget Office, the Library of Congress, the Government Accountability Office, and the Government Publishing Office, among others. The bill does not include funding for the House of Representatives, since each chamber of Congress traditionally decides its own budget separately. It also includes rules about how the money provided in the bill can and cannot be spent.
