Resilient Transit Act of 2025

This bill would let the Department of Transportation give grants to states and local governments to help make public transit systems better able to handle the effects of climate change, including things like flooding, wildfires, extreme weather, sea level rise, and other natural disasters. The money could be used for standalone projects or as part of bigger construction efforts. The Department of Transportation would also have to send a yearly report to Congress about the grants and post it on its website.
