Space Exploration Research Act

This bill gives NASA clear permission to rent out its properties to state and local governments, universities, and nonprofit organizations focused on education or science, so they can use those properties for space research and training. Any building or work done on the rented property must be related to space and connected to NASA's mission. NASA can also provide support like administrative help and instruction to the groups renting its property, and it can rent the property back from those groups if needed. NASA is required to send a yearly report to Congress explaining how these rental agreements are valuable and beneficial.
