Commerce, Justice, Science, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2026

This bill provides funding for the 2026 fiscal year to the Department of Commerce, the Department of Justice, and several science and other government agencies. Within the Department of Commerce, it funds offices that handle things like trade, economic development, the census, patents, weather and ocean monitoring, and technology standards. Within the Department of Justice, it funds agencies like the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Federal Prison System, U.S. Marshals, immigration courts, and programs that support state and local police. It also provides money to science agencies like NASA and the National Science Foundation, as well as related agencies like the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Legal Services Corporation, and it includes rules about how the money can and cannot be spent.
