Crow Tribe Water Rights Settlement Amendments Act of 2025

This bill makes changes to a water rights agreement between the Crow Tribe of Montana and the state of Montana that was originally set up in 2010. It updates the names and structure of certain water system projects on the Crow Reservation, creates new accounts to fund the repair of an irrigation project and water infrastructure like treatment and delivery systems, and gives the Crow Tribe five more years — until 2030 — to have the sole right to build hydropower facilities on the Yellowtail Afterbay Dam in Montana.
