Abortion Is Not Health Care Act of 2025

This bill would stop people from claiming the cost of an abortion as part of their tax deduction for medical and dental expenses. Right now, if someone itemizes their taxes, they can include the cost of a legal abortion as a medical expense. Under this bill, that would no longer be allowed unless the pregnancy resulted from rape or incest, or a doctor certifies that the woman could die if the abortion is not performed.
