Uterine Fibroid Intervention and Gynecological Health Treatment Act of 2025

This bill sets up grants and research programs to help find uterine fibroids earlier and treat them sooner. Uterine fibroids are tumors in the wall of the uterus that are usually not cancerous but can cause painful and heavy periods and other symptoms. The Department of Health and Human Services would be required to conduct research on early detection, give grants to states for screenings and public awareness campaigns, and support research on differences in how pain is managed during fibroid surgeries. HHS would also have to report to Congress every two years on what the grant money was used for and what the research found.
