Geriatrics Workforce Improvement Act

This bill extends funding through 2030 for two programs that help train health care workers to take care of older adults. One program gives grants to educate and train health professionals in caring for older people, and the other supports early-career teachers at health schools who focus on training others in geriatrics, which is the field of medicine for older adults. Both programs are run by the Health Resources and Services Administration.
