Federal Employee Return to Work Act

This bill would stop federal government employees who work from home at least one day per week from receiving certain pay raises. Right now, federal employees get yearly pay increases based on changes in private sector wages and differences in pay between government and private sector jobs in their area. Under this bill, employees who telework 20% or more of their workweek would no longer be eligible for those pay adjustments. The change would take effect at the start of the first government budget year after the bill becomes law.
