A bill to release a Federal reversionary interest and convey mineral interests in Chester County, Tennessee, and for other purposes.

This bill gives up the federal government's remaining ownership rights over a small piece of land (about 0.62 acres) in the Chickasaw State Forest in Chester County, Tennessee, and transfers those rights to the state of Tennessee. The land was originally given to the state back in 1955, but the Forest Service kept the right to take it back if it stopped being used for public purposes, and this bill removes that right. The bill also transfers the federal government's rights to any minerals on the land and requires the state of Tennessee to pay for any administrative costs involved in making the transfer, which is being done to resolve an issue where Bethel Baptist Church was built partly on this land.
