Informing Consumers about Smart Devices Act

This bill says that companies making internet-connected devices, like smart appliances, must tell buyers before they purchase the product if it has a camera or microphone built in. The rule does not apply to phones, laptops, or other devices where people would already expect a camera or microphone to be included.
