Congressional Award Program Reauthorization Act

This bill extends funding through 2028 for the board that runs the Congressional Award Program, which is a program that promotes and recognizes service and achievement among young people in America. The extension is set to take effect as if it started on October 1, 2023. The bill also removes a rule that required the program's medals to be made of specific materials, like gold-plated bronze, rhodium over bronze, or plain bronze.
