Mentoring to Succeed Act of 2025

This bill creates a grant program run by the Department of Labor to help community-based organizations start or grow mentoring programs for young people, including those in school, out of school, or struggling academically. The mentoring programs are meant to help youth build thinking and social skills and prepare them for success in high school, college, and jobs. The Department of Labor must also work with the Department of Justice and the Department of Education to connect these programs with mentoring resources and information about helping youth coming back from correctional facilities or students with disabilities. Finally, the bill requires a study and report on how these mentoring programs are working.
