Keep America Flying Act of 2026

This bill would make sure that air traffic controllers, other essential Federal Aviation Administration workers, and certain Transportation Security Administration employees who handle airport security screening continue to get paid and receive their benefits during a government shutdown. It also covers payments to contractors who support these workers. The funding would last until either Congress passes the regular spending bills for the year or September 30, 2026, whichever comes first, and it would apply as if it had started on September 30, 2025.
