HUD Transparency Act of 2025

This bill would require the inspector general of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to appear before Congress once a year to answer questions. During this testimony, the inspector general would have to report on efforts to find and stop fraud and waste, share recommendations for making HUD work better and be more accountable to the public, and discuss whether HUD has enough resources to do its job.
