Pay Our Capitol Police Act

This bill would make sure that U.S. Capitol Police officers and their support staff get paid during a government shutdown in fiscal year 2026. It covers salaries, overtime, hazardous duty pay, bonuses, and benefits for officers who are required to keep working during a shutdown, as well as for civilian employees and contractors who support them. The funding would last until Congress passes a regular or temporary spending bill for the Capitol Police, or until September 30, 2026, whichever comes first. The bill would apply as if it had started on October 1, 2025.
