Armed Forces Pay Act of 2025

This bill makes sure that members of the military, including reservists, and civilian workers at the Department of Defense and certain intelligence agencies like the CIA continue to get paid even if the government shuts down because Congress hasn't passed its regular funding bills for the 2026 fiscal year. The funding would last until either Congress passes the needed spending bills or September 30, 2026, whichever comes first. The bill also says that any money it provides for intelligence work counts as officially approved by Congress until a separate intelligence funding bill is passed.
