Pay Our Capitol Police Act

This bill would provide funding to make sure U.S. Capitol Police officers and employees continue to get paid, receive their benefits, and get other regular payments for work they do during the government shutdown that started on October 1, 2025. It would also pay contractors who are helping support Capitol Police workers during the shutdown. The funding would last until either a regular spending bill is passed for the Capitol Police or the legislative branch, or until September 30, 2026, whichever comes first. The bill would apply as if it had been signed into law on September 30, 2025.
