Fisher House Availability Act of 2025

This bill would let more people stay for free at Fisher Houses, which are places where veterans and others can stay while getting medical treatment at VA or non-VA facilities. Right now, certain people can use Fisher Houses, but this bill would expand who is eligible to include members of the military regardless of their duty status, their family members, and people traveling with them. It also covers veterans and military members whose family members need medical care and have to travel a long distance to get it. The lodging would be offered when space is available.
