United States Cadet Nurse Corps Service Recognition Act of 2025

This bill officially recognizes people who served in the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps between July 1, 1943, and December 31, 1948, as having served on active duty. This would make them eligible for certain veteran benefits like burial benefits and honorary veteran status, but they would not be eligible for most Department of Veterans Affairs benefits beyond burial and memorial-related ones. They also could not be buried at Arlington National Cemetery. The Department of Defense would be required to issue them an honorable discharge if their service warrants it and could create a service medal, memorial plaque, or grave marker to honor them.
