Fast Track To and Through College Act

This bill would require the Department of Education to give grants to partnerships with state education agencies to help set up two types of programs across states. The first type lets high school students take advanced classes that count as at least a year of college credit while also meeting the requirements for a high school diploma. The second type provides scholarships to students who graduate high school early, don't need catch-up classes in college, and go on to attend a public college or university. The bill would also allow certain high school students in these advanced programs to receive Pell Grants, which are federal funds to help pay for college.
