Knife Owners’ Protection Act of 2025

This bill allows people to carry a knife from one place to another, like between states, as long as the knife is legal to have in both places. The knife must be stored and carried following specific safety and storage rules laid out in the bill, except for emergency knives or tools made to cut seat belts. A person following these rules cannot be arrested or held for a knife-related violation unless there is probable cause they broke the storage requirements. People can also use this law to defend themselves in court if they are charged or sued over transporting a knife.
