Child Interstate Abortion Notification Act

This bill would create new federal crimes related to taking a minor across state lines to get an abortion. It would make it illegal to knowingly take a minor to another state for an abortion without following the home state's laws requiring parental consent, parental notification, or court approval. It would also ban anyone who has committed incest with a minor from taking that minor across state lines for an abortion. Additionally, it would make it a crime for a doctor to perform an abortion on a minor from another state without first notifying the minor's parent.
