Transition-to-Success Mentoring Act

This bill creates a mentoring program where the Department of Education would give grants to groups like local school districts to set up school-based mentoring for at-risk students who are moving from middle school to high school. The Department of Education would also work with the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention to connect grant recipients with mentoring resources and provide information about support services for students returning from correctional facilities and for students with disabilities.
