Repair Abuses of MSP Payments (RAMP) Act

Under current law, if certain insurance plans are supposed to pay before Medicare but don't, people can sue those plans to make them pay. These plans include group health plans, workers' compensation plans, auto or liability insurance plans, and no-fault insurance plans. This bill would change the law so that people can only sue group health plans in these situations, removing the ability to sue the other types of insurance plans for not paying before Medicare.
