JOBS Act of 2025

This bill creates a new type of Pell Grant specifically for job training programs. It would allow students who don't already have a degree to get financial help through Pell Grants if they enroll in short-term career and technical training programs that last 8 to 15 weeks and prepare them for high-skill, high-wage, or in-demand jobs. Students must meet all the other usual requirements for Pell Grants, and any time they receive this new job training grant would count toward the total amount of time they're allowed to receive Pell Grant money overall.
