Specialty CROP Act of 2026

This bill requires the Department of Agriculture to include more detailed information in its yearly report about U.S. specialty crop exports, specifically about foreign countries' rules or actions that make it harder for American specialty crops to compete overseas. The Department of Agriculture must work with the U.S. Trade Representative and gather input from the public and an advisory committee on fruit and vegetable trade before writing the report. The report must be sent to Congress in a form that is not secret and made available to the public, though a secret section can be attached if needed.
