GAAME Act of 2026

This bill makes it clear that federal money meant to help students from low-income families (known as Title I funds) can be used to pay for arts and music programs in elementary and secondary schools. Schools that receive these funds could include arts and music education in their official plans and use the money for things like hiring certified teachers, training staff, and buying supplies and instruments.
