Love Lives On Act of 2025

This bill would allow surviving spouses of military members or veterans to keep receiving certain benefits — like compensation payments, pension benefits, and military survivor annuity payments — even if they remarry. Currently, remarrying can cause these spouses to lose some of those benefits. The bill would also let a remarried widow or widower whose later marriage ended through death, divorce, or annulment qualify again for TRICARE military health coverage.
