American Beef Labeling Act of 2025

This bill would bring back a requirement that grocery stores and similar retailers label beef with information about what country it comes from. It directs the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, working with the Department of Agriculture, to figure out a way to bring back this labeling rule in a way that follows international trade rules. The labeling requirement must be put in place within one year after the bill becomes law.
