Child Predators Accountability Act

This bill updates two federal laws about child pornography to cover more types of harmful behavior involving children. Right now, these laws make it illegal to get a child to take part in sexually explicit activity in order to create or send images or videos of it. This bill expands the law so that it also covers situations where a child is shown appearing in such images or videos, even if the child is not actually participating in the explicit activity but is simply present in the depiction.
