SAFE through Medicare Act

This bill would allow Medicare to pay for certain services and equipment that help keep people safe during disasters, whether caused by climate events or human actions. It covers things like heat pumps, batteries for medical equipment, and energy-efficient storage for medical supplies for Medicare patients who are considered medically at risk during these emergencies. These are called "home resiliency services" and would be covered as long as they are deemed medically necessary.
