Jobs and Opportunities for Medicaid Act

This bill would require certain adults on Medicaid to work or volunteer at least 20 hours per week, averaged over a month, in order to keep their Medicaid coverage. It applies to adults between the ages of 18 and 65 who are considered able-bodied. People who cannot work because of a medical condition, family situation, or other specific reasons listed in the bill would be excused from this requirement.
