CIRCUIT Act

This bill would give a tax credit to manufacturers who make certain types of electrical transformers, called distribution transformers, in the United States. The credit would cover up to 10% of the cost to produce these transformers. It does this by adding distribution transformers to an existing tax credit program that already helps companies that make parts for clean energy equipment, like battery cells and solar panels, in the United States.
