Community College Agriculture Advancement Act of 2026

This bill lets the U.S. Department of Agriculture give out competitive grants to community colleges and two-year public colleges to help them train students, do research, and run programs related to agriculture. Priority for the grants goes to colleges that work with local agriculture businesses to give students hands-on training. The money can be used for things like buying equipment, helping teachers grow professionally, and creating apprenticeships or other job-training opportunities. Colleges can also apply to be named a "Center of Excellence for Agriculture Advancement," which would give them extra funding to showcase best farming practices and help other schools build their agriculture programs.
