Transnational Criminal Organization Illicit Spotter Prevention and Elimination Act

This bill creates criminal penalties for people who knowingly share the location or activities of law enforcement officers with the intent of helping commit crimes related to immigration, customs, or controlled substances, with a punishment of up to 10 years in prison. It also makes it a crime, punishable by up to 10 years in prison, to knowingly damage or destroy equipment used to control the border or ports of entry. The bill also increases punishments for anyone who carries or uses a firearm while committing certain immigration crimes, such as helping someone with a felony conviction enter the country illegally.
