Protecting Taxpayers’ Wallets Act of 2025

This bill would require labor unions that represent federal government workers to pay the government back for any resources or work time used for union activities instead of regular government work. Federal agencies would charge unions a fee based on the value of that time and any resources used, like parking spaces or equipment, and union representatives would have to carefully track their time or face discipline. If a union doesn't pay the fee within 90 days, the agency can cut off resources and time for union activities, and the union loses the ability to file certain complaints. If the bill remains unpaid for 365 days, the union would be notified, and after 380 days, it would lose its official status as the representative of that agency's employees.
