Defund Government-Sponsored Propaganda Act

This bill would stop the federal government from giving money to PBS and NPR, or any organizations that replace them. Public broadcast stations would also not be allowed to use federal funds to pay membership fees to or buy programs from PBS or NPR. In addition, the bill would require the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to send money that would have gone to PBS or NPR during 2025 through 2027 to the U.S. Department of the Treasury to help pay down the national debt.
