SAP Act

This bill requires the Department of Agriculture to ask people in the maple syrup industry about their priorities for research and education when running a program called the Acer Access and Development Program. That program gives grants to states, tribal governments, and research institutions to support the domestic maple syrup industry through research, education, and sustainability efforts. The bill also says USDA must take the maple industry's input into account when awarding those grants and extends the program's funding authorization through 2030.
