Astronaut Ground Travel Support Act

This bill allows NASA to use government vehicles to drive astronauts and other people who have been to space to and from medical checkups and treatments after they return to Earth, since astronauts may not be allowed to drive themselves for a period of time after a mission. It covers U.S. government astronauts, certain astronauts from partner countries, and other individuals who traveled on space vehicles. NASA is also allowed to keep and maintain vehicles, including cars and aircraft, for this purpose. The cost of transporting international partner astronauts and non-government space travelers must be paid back to the U.S. Treasury.
