SAD Act

This bill makes it illegal for any person or organization to use misleading advertising about the reproductive health services they provide. For example, it would be against the law to falsely claim that a place offers contraception or abortion services, referrals for those services, or access to licensed medical professionals when it does not. The Federal Trade Commission would be in charge of enforcing this law, and violators could face fines of up to $100,000 or 50% of the revenue earned by the violator's parent company over the past year, whichever amount is greater.
