Wildfire Resilience Through Grazing Research Act

This bill adds a new research focus at the Department of Agriculture, looking into how hooved grazing animals like cattle or sheep can be used to help prevent wildfires, reduce wildfire fuel like dry brush, and help land recover after fires. It allows the USDA to give grants to certain universities to study grazing techniques that also protect soil health, water quality, and prevent problems like invasive plants, disease, and erosion. The grants can also be used to share what researchers learn with landowners, land managers, and livestock owners.
